- An adult dose is approximately one tablespoon either once a day or up to 4 times a day to actively fight colds and the flu.
- A child dose (Ages 2 -12) is approximately one teaspoon. Children can have either one teaspoon a day or up to three times daily if actively fighting a cold, flu or strong allergy symptoms
Contains Honey. Do NOT feed to children under 12 months of age.
Why is your Elderberry Syrup Different?
Most commercial and store-bought elderberry products contain glucose syrup, additives, and artificial preservatives, and usually costs more per ounce than our Simply Elderberry Co. Products. We use mostly organic ingredients and either Organic Raw Honey or Local Raw Honey, which we believe have natural enzymes and benefits that can improve seasonal allergies and your immune system with consistent use.
How Do I Store my Syrup?
Our elderberry syrup has no artificial preservatives and are vacuum-sealed to last in your refrigerator for up to 1 year as long as it is not open. Once opened, our syrups are good for approximately 30-45 days in the refrigerator. You can also freeze any syrup in ice cube trays for up to 6 months! These are great to either thaw out or to even throw into your children's apple juice!
Can you Make Gummies?
To keep our products good and wholesome, we will not be making gummy products until we can find a way to make them simply and naturally. However, recipes to make elderberry gummies can be found online here !
Why is there Sediment in My Jar?
Any sediment in your elderberry jar may be either a result of the spices we use while make the syrup, or they are because of the Raw Honey that is mixed in. As with any honey, there may be some settling over time. Make sure to shake well before serving to ensure an even taste!
Why is My Syrup not Thick?
To keep our products natural, we do not include any artificial preservatives or thickening agents. The consistency will not be thick, but will have the great taste of what you expect from a simply made elderberry syrup. Hope you love it!
